Ho Ho Hummm

This is my Sunday Stash Report, yeah I know it's Tuesday, what can I say? I have not bought any fabric. Of course I didn't use a lot either. I did one block on my secret gift Q project, but I've abandoned that project. There is just not enough time. Now I hope to get it done for next year. Hmm what do I feel like working on now? I guess I will do some machine applique to finish the 4 table runners that I started a while back, that would at least be 4 more gifts. Maybe work on a redwork project.
I don't know what it is, I can't get in the holiday mood. I did manage to put a wreath on the door and I have my scented candles burning. I've been looking at all of the blogland homes decorated and cheerful, but it's just not working for me. I do have this wallhanging in my office that I finished last year. It's called Winter Greetings by Elizabeth of Late Bloomer Quilts. This was before my machine applique class so it is needle turned. I love this because I can leave it all winter!!

Sometimes we just can't get into the Christmas Spirit - it's OK! Just relax and enjoy whatever it making you happy. :-)

Wow Mar! I'm finally doing a little catch up and you've been very busy! I sure wish I worked on your staff - those placemats are THE perfect gift for a bunch of office mates. And I LOVE your little winter greetings wall hanging -- I need something like that to brighten up my office!

What a fun little wall hanging! As for the Christmas spirit? I've had years where I'm like you. Oddly enough, this year it's like I'm a kid again -- I could loan you a 2 yo who is santa mad and who has been getting me in the spirit!

That's a very cheery Christmas wallhanging. The polka dots are adorable and the snowman makes me smile.

Mar, you remember that commercial where you slap yourself in the face to wake up? lol...try that, maybe it will get you going, lol. I do like your wall hanging. Or just hold off for a few more days and Christmas will be over and you won't have to worry about it.

OH I love that wallhanging! It is something I am going to have to see if I can get the pattern and make..I collect snowmen things for the winter and my tree is all snowmen ornaments..so it can stay up for the winter..it is a tiny thing! Your wallhang is to die for though!

Love that wallhanging. In fact I bought that pattern last year at Market..love the dots! You did a beautiful job on it. Some years we just don't get in to Xmas and that's OK. On to the new year with lots of quilting projects to
come!
