If I had a Magic Star Wand...

What would I do? Well first off I would swish away my extra pounds, improve thy self first, right? then I would swish myself into retirement and good health. Dream on...
Today I'd like to swish my condo into a squeaky cleandom. The Debs (Deb and Debbie) and Holly are coming for a sew day tomorrow. OH MY! C&T Publishing is having their warehouse sale and Cotton Patch is having a Copy Cat sale (they are gonna fill their parking lot with lots of goodies at good prices), Thimble Creek is having a sale and we all want to go to lunch and hit Main Street quilts in Martinez too! Wait, when are we gonna sew? This is guaranteed to to be a FUN day so I need to get prepared and here I am blogging.
One thing at a time, right?
1. dream
2. blog about dream
3. blog about clean
4. then clean.
It all makes sense in my mind.

It sounds like tomorrow will be a "Quilting Heaven" day!! Good friends, good sales, good food, lots of laughing and quilting conversation!! PERFECT!!
Cleaning - just clean/dust off the surfaces....they'll all understand. ;)
I LOVE your block!!
Have a great weekend, and pet some fabric for me.

Love the block! :-)

Oh, forget about the mess and instruct them to step over anything that's in the way. Or you can 'sweep the room with a glance' and tell them you cleaned. LOL

Have fun and I can't wait to hear about your treasures and goodies!

Listen to the good advice these ladies have given you. Have a great day....don't wear yourself out tonight with cleaning. You need your strength for tomorrow. :)

Sounds almost too good to be legal! Thanks for the comment, your blog looks great as well, could you lend me the magic wand!! Love the previous post quilts, the circles are something i should one day attempt.
It's funny, i have discussed weight loss in about 3 emails this morning,I reckon the only way to motivate we quilters is to have a reverse fabric diet group! For every kilo/pound we lose, we are allowed to add 1 yard of stash!!! It may actually motivate me, I wonder how you would go about it..... Tracey

Have a great time with the Debs squared and Holly. Give them all hugs for me! Gosh, just two more months and I'll get to do that myself!!! Oh, and don't buy out everything at all those sales! Leave something for the other quilters!! LOL

What a perfect day you have planned, and you're worried about cleaning?? Poo - who cares? With all the festivities you have planned, I don't think your friends will be in your place long enough to notice if it is dirty!
ENJOY, Mar - you have to have fun for all of us, you know!! LOL!

Oh, I'm envious! I haven't been to Thimblecreek since they moved--is the new store as nice as the old? Have a wonderful time!
